ABOUT THE AUTHOR
R. Garcia created Off Leash Marketer to share practical marketing systems for the AI era: work that a curious marketer can understand, inspect, build, and improve without buying another black-box promise.
The perspective comes from more than 20 years of doing the work: beginning in small-business marketing, moving through data analysis and marketing leadership, consulting independently since 2013, and leading growth in healthcare SaaS across both sales-led and product-led growth motions. R. Garcia has owned multimillion-dollar acquisition budgets and worked across paid search, paid social, display, programmatic media, SEO, conversion optimization, lifecycle marketing, events, and high-consideration customer journeys.
Data and analytics are the through line. R. Garcia has built first-touch, hybrid-attribution, and Ridge-regression Marketing Mix Modeling systems; joined spend to trial, customer, and revenue outcomes across nine channels; and created API-first reporting stacks that normalize advertising, analytics, organic-search, offline-media, and CRM evidence while keeping source freshness, reconciliation, and failure states visible. The implementation work includes Google Tag Manager, GA4, Looker Studio, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Apps Script, advertising APIs, and consent controls.
Representative results include growing trials 38% while reducing CAC payback by more than one-third, increasing LTV 53% and ARR 29%, increasing healthcare-SaaS demos 60% in two quarters and 81% across six quarters, tripling qualified lead volume, and driving 109% MQL growth and 72% enrollment growth across three cycles. Those outcomes came from clearer segmentation, better measurement, direct customer learning, disciplined channel allocation, and systems teams could actually operate.
R. Garcia also builds the capability around the system: defining funnel ownership, training marketers to use APIs and automation, and helping nontechnical teams build and deploy their own reporting and Apps Script workflows. AI is treated as leverage for careful practitioners—not a substitute for customer understanding, measurement discipline, or accountable judgment.
Articles are grounded in direct working experience, documented research, and reproducible checks. When a conclusion depends on assumptions, incomplete evidence, or a changing platform, those limitations should be stated plainly.
